Summary

You will be part of the QA team which is going to assure the quality of the applications that we build and automate everything. Making sure the applications (mobile or Web) designed are user-friendly and high-class from design to production for Lean Scale and its clients. Ownership of end-to-end product quality, helping to make the apps more reliable, performant and delightful while ensuring continuous improvement for the initiatives of the Company and selected clients of the Company.

The ideal Candidate will be ideally:

  • Coming from Manual Testing but also understands the Automation Testing principles.  (Automation is a plus)
  • Willing to learn to build a testing process before and work in an Agile environment. 
  • Have worked remotely. 
  • Have an understanding and a plan on how remote teams should solve the problem of "physical devices" . 
  • Have a clear understanding of  how to convert user stories to test strategy and case scenarios.
  • Willing to learn about non functional tests like performance and load tests.

Job Related Skills

Key  Responsibilities:

  • To support the full life cycle of QA processes, automatic and manual; handling the launch and continuous improvement not only for internal (Lean Scale offerings and initiatives) but also for projects, products that Lean Scale is delivering with Clients
  • Work with Lean Scale and its partner ecosystem Functions (Entrepreneurship In Residence, Product Management, Data & Insight, Marteching, Technology teams, Brand & Content Marketing, Product Design partners and any other required parties) to serve to Lean Scale clients and its own initiatives
  • Be flexible and understanding of Agile principles
  • Ability to handle Multi-tasking and prioritization
  • Ability to work independently if necessary
  • Support of quality assurance development activities for products, with responsibility for delivery in terms of timing and quality.
  • Work with the QA Lead to ensure the team delivers to best practice & quality guidelines.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and document issues thoroughly during bugs tracking.
  • Perform functional and non-functional testing to support the development team.
  • Ability to think out-side-box for reproducing, re-creating issues.
  • Provide Automation scripts for assigned modules.
  • Ability to act as stand-alone and define tasks to start QA efforts in an Agile team
  • Working side-by-side with product owners and managers to define the QA involvement

Functional Skills

  • Hands-on experience on test automation but also understanding the manual testing principles
  • Knowledge of the development languages and tools for the QA platform, including profiling and testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, Robot, framework.
  • jMeter experience is a plus
  • JAVA, JavaScript, PHP or any related programming language
  • Rest framework is a plus
  • Cypress.io framework is a plus
  • Hands-on POSTMAN and APIs testing.
  • Basic knowledge of Software QA methodologies, testing types, tools, and processes.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Basic knowledge of Software QA methodologies, testing types, tools, and processes.
  • Project tracking tools (e.g. Click-Up, Jira or Trello)

Education & Experience:

  • Preferably BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 3+ years of related Quality Assurance experience.
  • Have great written and verbal communication skills.
  • English proficiency, both written and spoken.

Preferred Other Skills:

  • ISTQB certificate
  • Experience in e-commerce and mobile apps testing 
  • Understanding the CI/CD and release management
